In the very near future, this will be a mature and rounded blog on wine in all its glory. It will be tempting to the eye, soft on the palate, and offer a pleasant and long-lasting finish for all you wine lovers out there.

But for now, it’s still bubbling away in its fermentation tank, getting all its phenolics in a row and combining all its flavours to ensure you get the best experience possible.

Translated into tech speak, that means we’re in the process of building this publication and transferring articles over from our website www.simplyspanishwine.com which will form the basis of this blog going forward (don’t worry - we’ll be covering other countries as well).

As we do that, we may need to publish and unpublish things several times. And we’re still getting to grips with how the whole Substack emailing thing works. So if we hit the wrong button and you get an email for an incomplete article - sorry!

We’re trying to get everything done as quickly as possible so that we can get started with the important stuff - writing about wine. But for now, please bear with us and have your corkscrew at the ready.
